March 2022
We went to an agility trial for just one day on Saturday . We took all four corgis and Skye, Dolly, and marks puppy Gabbi all ran. Dolly made 5 qualifying runs out of 6 classes and had 4 firsts and a second. Skye was 6 for 6 and had 3 firsts, a second and two thirds . Marks dog got her first qualifying scores to with a first as well.
Skye is very protective of his ribbons. He knows he is awesome. Dolly just wants to run really fast and will chew up a ribbon if given a chance
I expect we will have all three qualify for nationals next year .

Dolly has started to go to agility trials since she turned 15 months old and is now eligible to compete . Skye is now running in the top division,,, masters , so with luck he can go to nationals as we get faster.
Here are pictures from the last trial…and dollys first trial. Skye got two seconds against the Texas dogs. Dolly didn’t get a qualifying run but she will and she is fast….very fast Hope you guys are staying warm with all of this ice and snow… Jennifer Bianchi DVM |

Skye update Nov 2018 (pic above and to left)
Just because he's so adorable......here are more pictures of this handsome guy. He's been to AKC rally nationals, the corgi national specialty, and and a handful of other shows this summer and fall. We're working on his open title (CDX) and yes, we are planning on getting a utility title too! He's already qualified for AKC Rally Nationals for 2019 as well. He actually has a little break in competition for the winter....the next shows start up in February. In the mean time, he chases Cat, practices agility, and is the best friend anyone could want.

Update October 2016: This is a picture of very tired Skye. I will send you the show picture when I get it . Skye WON the beginner novice class at the Corgi National Specialty Show!!!!!!! He is so good. I love this dog. I'm going to try to add agility and herding to his resume soon. Everyone was very complementary at the show about his color and looks.

We are so proud of this little guy can't wait to see how he does in the future!!!

Comments from Jennifer handler/owner: Mr Skye had his first dog show today. He was great. Very sharp, and not only got qualifying scores but was second in his class. We show again tomorrow. He is such a joy and terribly funny. He is smart. I'm glad he's not my first corgi! I think he might be titled before he turns a year old!

THERAPY DOG: Molly (below) passed her therapy test and is now a member of TDI (Therapy Dog International). She also passed her Canine Good Citizen test. Before she was six months old she passed the test for S.T.A.R. puppy. We are also on the drill team with Skouby and Luke (her lab) and lots of other handlers/dogs teams at Ann Gafke's Teacher's Pet School. We are still learning drills and taking classes. One of the other drill team members teaches at an elementary school where there are a lot of children that can benefit from a therapy dog. I plan for Molly and me to help during summer school. The children have so many needs. TDI as asks us to visit nursing home some. A couple of the teams have asked us to join them.

We are happy to introduce Bayden (below), son of Fancy and Kip, who is actively competing in Agility. His owner Terry says "He is so fast I'm going to have to adjust my training to be able to keep up with him." You can see how happy he is with a "smile" on his face in the tunnel pic. (Terry owns 2 full brothers (different litters) which are hopeful future Agility Stars) Stay tuned for more "Agility News" to come. Enjoy these pictures.
